Racing Incidents

Explanation of Trainer Laxman Singh with regard to the inconsistent running of his charge APACHE GAL (App. Gopal Singh) the winner of this race who finished off board in her previous run to which the Trainer stated that he had given long layoff of more than one month to his mount after her previous run during which his charge has improved and also this being a weaker set, his horse could just manage to win the race at the post was noted for future reference.
 
Explanation of Jockey Abhishek S. Pawar (AGUSTA BOMBSHELL) in the presence of Trainer Zoheb Shaikh that his instructions were not to get in to the horse in the initial stages of the race as his mount tend to drop back, as such he did not ride out his mount in the initial stages of the race in order to follow the given instructions and thereafter he done his best was noted for future reference.
 
The Stewards of the Club suspended App. B.R Kumar (PRETTY STAR) from riding in races w.e.f.  28th October to 5th November 2017 both days inclusive for careless riding in that he made no efforts to prevent his mount from shifting in, in the final 100 mtrs of the race in the process causing severe interference to PENUMATCHA’S PRIDE (Koushik) and forcing in APACHE GAL (App. Gopal Singh).
 
The App. is however, permitted to ride work during the period of his suspension.
