Racing Incidents

App. Gopal Singh (VIJAY'S DYNAMITE) was cautioned for shifting in soon after the start due to which TOOTSIE ROLL (AKSHAY KUMAR) racing on his inside had to be checked.
 
Explanation of App. Abhishek S.Pawar (DAHLOIS) in the presence of Trainer M. Srinivas Reddy that his instructions were to sit close with front runners and do his best in the straight, but due to fast initial pace, he could not follow the given instructions and in the straight when asked for an effort, his mount did not respond to his urgings inspite of his best efforts. The Trainer while confirming the above, stated he had no plausible explanation to offer with regard to his charge dismal performance.  Subsequent Veterinary examination revealed that the mare returned lame on right fore probably due to knee joint sprain.
 
Explanation of Jockey A. Ashhaad Asbar (GUNNER) in the presence of Trainer Arjun Anne that his mount did not raise a fluent gallop in the straight inspite of his best efforts noted for future reference.
