Racing Incidents

CAROLINA MOON (A.A. Vikrant) jumped out slowly losing about 4 or 5 lengths, SSC revoked.

Explanation of Jockey Akshay Kumar (TA TA) that his instructions were to sit close with front runners in the initial stages of the race which he tried to follow until entering the straight and thereafter his mount did not raise a fluent gallop in the straight inspite of his best efforts.   Trainer S.S.F. Hassan while confirming the above, added that his mount is running in a higher category in the present race as compared to his previous run where he ran with lower category of horses, as such the poor performance was noted for future reference.

SOMERSET (Arshad Alam) sustained deep cut injury over left fore.  However, the rig was trotting sound after the race.
