Explanation of Jockey Arshad Alam (JUMEIRA EXPRESS) in the presence of Trainer L.D' Silva that his instructions were to sit close with front runners and do his best in the straight, but his mount did not show any initial speed as such he was unable to position his mount as instructed and the colt was gaining ground only in the straight inspite of his best efforts.  The Trainer while confirming the above added that his charge may not be liking the blinkers as such the performance was noted for future reference.
 
Trainer Arjun Anne was questioned with regard to inconsistent running of his charge YANGA (K. Sai Kiran) the winner of this race, who finished off board in her previous run to which the Trainer stated that his charge in the previous run has no initial speed and was gaining ground only in the straight as such he opted to run the filly in a 7 furlong race in the present race.  The extra 300 mtrs to travel has been to his charges advantage and went on to win the race was noted.  The Trainer was however, cautioned to ensure that his charges race more consistently in future, failing which he will be liable for severe disciplinary action as deemed fit.
 
Explanation of App. Gopal Singh (SECRET ART) that his mount did not raise a fluent gallop throughout the race inspite of his best efforts was confirmed by Trainer Laxman Singh and was noted for future reference.
 
GENERAL SALUTE (Nakhat Singh) returned lame on left hind due to back sprain.
