Racing Incidents

MANDY (Praveen Gaddam) was very fractious inside the stalls in the process reared up as the start was effected thereby losing about 3 or 4 lengths, SSC revoked.

App. C.P. Bopanna (ICE CRYSTAL) was severely reprimanded for taking long lead in the initial stages of the race thereby placing his mount at a disadvantage in the final stages of the race.

An objection lodged by Jockey R.J Hannam (DURANGO) placed 2nd against Jockey Nakhat Singh (MARK MY WORD) the winner that “he came on to me at about the 200 mtrs for which I was unable to ride out my mount to fullest and also on more than one occasion he whipped my horse's head, that cost me a certain race" was overruled by the Stewards and the judges placing remained unaltered.

An objection lodged by App. Md. Ismail (DAHLOIS) placed 3rd against Jockey Nakhat Singh (MARK MY WORD) the winner that “in the last 100 mtrs he bumped me for which my horse stopped galloping, that cost me a certain 2nd place" was overruled by the Stewards and the judges placing remained unaltered.   Trainer M. Srinivas Reddy was cautioned and App. Md. Ismail was fined Rs. 1000/- for lodging a frivolous objection.

Jockey Nakhat Singh (MARK MY WORD) was fined Rs. 3000/- for failing to maintain a straight course in the final stages of the race.
