Racing Incidents

WAVE RIDER (Akshay Kumar) was examined at the Starting gates and was observed to be trotting lame on left hind, as such the gelding was permitted to be withdrawn on Veterinary grounds before coming under starters orders.
 
App. C.P. Bopanna (ICE CRYSTAL) was severely reprimanded for riding his mount contrary to the given instructions by the Trainer i.e. positioning his mount at the rear end of the field instead of positioning close with the front runners.
