SKETCH OF BEAUTY (Koushik) was trotting lame on left hind due to back sprain, as such the mare has been permitted to be withdrawn on Veterinary grounds.
 
Consequent to Jockey Praveen Gaddam having been declared medically unfit to ride, the Stewards permitted Jockey Nakhat Singh to be substituted on MARKET LEADER.
 
ASHWA ASHOKA (Aneel) stopped galloping from about 1100 mtrs.  Subsequent Veterinary examination revealed that the gelding was walking lame on left fore, as it was irreparable, the gelding was put to sleep on humanitarian grounds.
 
App. Md. Ismail (SUNDAY CARNIVAL) reported that he lost his whip in the final stages of the race, as jockey Ajit Singh (VIJAY’S EMPIRE) who was travelling in close proximity hit his whip, as this confirmed our observation and this being purely accidental, no action beyond noting the same was taken.  Jockey Ajit Singh was however, cautioned to be more careful in future.
 
Explanation of Jockey Harinder Singh (ELYSIAN) that his mount did not show any initial speed inspite of his best efforts and was gaining ground only in the straight was confirmed by Trainer Arjun Anne, was noted for future reference.
