Consequent to Jockey Akshay Kumar not being available to ride, the Stewards permitted Jockey Nakhat Singh to be substituted on INDIAN DREAMS.
 
The equipment “ANB” used on INDIAN DREAMS (Nakhat Singh) broke at the starting gates, as such at the request of the Trainer M. Satyanarayana, the gelding has been permitted to be withdrawn before coming under starters orders.  
 
App. Rafique Sk (PRINCESS HINA) was cautioned for failing to maintain a straight course soon after the start.
 
Explanation of Jockey S.S. Tanwar (ROSE ETERNAL) that his mount jumped out awkwardly in the process shifted out and tightened COMMANDING BOY (Kunal Bunde) and KHAN SAHIB (App. Md. Ismail) was not accepted and the Jockey was fined Rs. 1,000/- for failing to exercise greater control over his mount.
 
Explanation of Jockey Prashant P Dhebe (ASTRA) that the buckle of the throat latch of bridle got loose on his mount and was troubling the horse throughout the race, as such his mount did not concentrate much in the race.  As this confirmed our observation, the Jockeys explanation was noted.  Since the incident was accidental, Trainer L.V.R. Deshmukh was advised to be more careful in putting on the equipment on his charges in future.
 
Trainer L.D’ Silva was questioned with regard to the improved performance of his charge CHINESE THOUGHT (App. Jitendra Singh) winner of this race, who finished off board in her previous race to which the Trainer stated that his charge was consistent in all his runs except the previous race as the horse has gone up in the handicap and also race being 1400 mtrs, as such he opted to run her in 1100 mtrs and also claiming 5 kgs allowance.  The 300 mtrs less to travel and 5 kgs allowance claiming App in the saddle has been to his charges advantage and just managed to win the race.  The Trainer further stated that he had not fancied his charge and was available at longer odds, noted. The Trainer was however, advised to ensure that his charges race more consistently in future, failing which he will be liable for severe disciplinary action as deemed fit.
