Racing Incidents

Explanation of Jockey Neeraj Rawal (CORFE CASTLE) in the presence of Trainer L.D' Silva that his instructions were to position 4th or 5th and do his best in the straight which he tried to follow in the initial stages of the race but due to slow initial pace, he was forced to check and drop back at about the 1200 mtrs as he was crowded for room due to wall of horses racing in front and thereafter when asked for an effort in the straight, his mount did not show any turn of foot inspite of his best efforts. The Trainer while confirming the above, added that his charge did not relish due to slow initial pace, other than this, he has no plausible explanation to offer with regard to the poor performance of his charge. Both the Jockeys and Trainer explanation were noted for future reference.
 
EXCLUSIVENORTHWIND (Akshay Kumar) returned bleeding from both the nostrils.
 
DESTINED DYNAMITE (A. Ashhad Asbar) returned lame on left fore due to shoulder sprain.
