Racing Incidents

Consequent to Jockey Dhanu S Deora having been declared medically unfit to ride, the Stewards permitted Jockey A. Ashhad Asbar to be substituted on ROYAL AVENGER.
 
MAHATHI (A.A.Vikrant) jumped out slowly losing about 5 or 6 lengths, SSC revoked.
 
Jockey G. Naresh (CORSICAN KING) was fined Rs. 2,000/- for shifting in 100 mtrs after the start in the process causing interference to ONE ONE ONE (Aneel) who in turn shifted out and caused interference to SEMPER FIDELIS (Kuldeep Singh).
 
Jockey Kuldeep Singh (SEMPER FIDELIS) was cautioned for changing course on more than one occasion in the straight for no apparent reason.
 
CORSICAN KING (G. Naresh) dropped back from about the 500 mtrs and finished the course distance behind.  Trainer A. Vatsalya was advised for a better performance in future.
 
Jockey A. Ashhad Asbar (ROYAL AVENGER) was cautioned for travelling wide under use of whip in the final stages of the race.
 
Explanation of Jockey Aneel (ONE ONE ONE) that his instructions were to sit close 2nd/3rd and do his best in the straight which he tried to follow until entering the straight and thereafter when asked for an effort, the filly did not show any turn of foot in the final 200 mtrs inspite of his best efforts.  Trainer R.H. Sequeira while confirming the above added that the filly is running for the 1st time in a 1400 mtrs distance race and 200 mtrs extra to travel as compare to the previous runs was not to her liking as such she dropped back in the final 200 mtrs was noted for future reference.
Explanation of Jockey A. Sandesh (ALEXANDERTHEGREAT) that his mount dropped back in the final 200 mtrs whilst travelling with front runners inspite of his best efforts, was noted.
