Racing Incidents

SHANDAAR (Ajit Singh) clipped the heels of front runner AVANTIKA (App. R. Ajay Kumar) at about the 600 mtrs and stumbled in the process dislodged the rider.  The Jockey who was given immediate medical aid was shifted to hospital for treatment.  As this confirmed out observation and the incident being purely accidental, no action beyond noting the same was taken.
 
Trainer Laxman Singh was fined Rs. 5000/- for the inconsistent running of his charge ROSE ETERNAL (S.S. Tanwar) winner of this race, who finished off board in the previous race.  The Trainer was further cautioned to ensure that his charges race more consistently in future, failing which he will be liable for severe disciplinary action as deemed fit.
 
AVANTIKA (App. R. Ajay Kumar) sustained bleeding cut injury over right hind.  However the mare was trotting sound after the race.
