Racing Incidents

Explanation Jockey Akshay Kumar (RIDDARI) that he found something wrong with the horse at about the 100 metres as such he pulled up his mount in the final 50 metres resulting in the running of RAHIL (App. Gopal Singh) and SOUTHERN STATE (App. R.S. Jodha) who were racing directly behind got hampered.

SOUTHERN STATE (App. R.S.Jodha) who was travelling behind RIDDARI (Akshay Kumar) clipped the heels of the former and stumbled in the process dislodged App. R.S. Jodha 50 mtrs before the winning post.  Since the incident is purely accidental, no action beyond noting the same was taken.  The App. who was given immediate medical aid was declared medically unfit to ride for the remaining races of the day.  Subsequent Veterinary examination revealed that RIDDARI  was trotting lame on right fore due to fracture of both proximal sesamoids.
