Explanation of App. Afroz Khan (KIONIA) in the presence of Trainer L.D' Silva that after passing the 900 mtrs he felt that saddle on his mount shifted back, as such he removed his both legs from the stirrups and thereafter he could not offer any assistance to his mount. Subsequent observation of the Saddle after the race revealed that the saddle was intact and the App. Afroz Khan has anticipated the movement of saddle backwards at about the 900 mtrs whilst travelling on the rails. Since the incidence was purely because of the anticipation of App. Jockey, he was severely reprimanded to be more careful in taking such decision in future failing which he will be liable for severe disciplinary action as deemed fit.

STAR ENVOY (Kiran Naidu) was denied a clear run at about the 300 mtrs due to wall of horses racing in front.

Explanation of Jockey Suraj Narredu (CELERITAS ) in the presence of Trainer D. Netto that in the final 100 mtrs whilst he was heading the field and riding out, his mount suddenly changed leg because of which he got unbalanced in the saddle and felt something wrong with his mount, as such he stopped riding for a couple of strides. Subsequent Veterinary examination revealed the filly was trotting sound after the race.

However, Trainer D. Netto and Jockey Suraj Narredu were informed that an enquiry has been opened into the running and riding of CELERITAS in the final stages of the race.
