Explanation of Trainer S. Sreekant with regard to dismal performance of his charge GLADSTONE, unplaced in the race, who was a winner in R. No. 170 that his charge is now running with a penalty in a higher class.  The Trainer further added that this being a tougher bunch the gelding could not match the strides and dropped back in the straight was noted for future reference.

Explanation of App. Afroz Khan (PLATINUM CLAASZ) that his mount did not keep up with the pace throughout the race inspite of his best efforts noted.
