BOB CAMPBELL (Kuldeep Singh) was examined at the gates and was observed to be trotting lame on left fore, as such the colt has been permitted to be withdrawn on Veterinary grounds before coming under starters orders.  Trainer M.F. Ali Khan was advised to ensure that his charge is certified fit by the Club’s Veterinary Officer before next accepting in a race.  Consequent to the above withdrawal, the Bookmakers’ and Fixed odds liability remained unchanged on all Win bets, however, the Bookmakers’ and Fixed odds liability have been reduced by 12 paise and 25 paise in a rupee on all place bets respectively.

ROYAL TIGER (B.R. Kumar) and PROMISEOFHAPPINESS (Rafique Sk.) jumped out slowly losing about 4 or 5 lengths, SSCs revoked.

Explanation of Jockey Koushik (ORIGINAL TEMPTRESS) that he lost his right stirrup iron soon after the start as such he could not ride out his mount momentarily for a few strides in the initial stages of the race was noted. However, the Jockey was cautioned to be more careful in future. He further reported loss of whip in the final 200 mtrs.

Explanation of Jockey B.R. Kumar (ROYAL TIGER) that his left stirrup leather gave way at about the 1000 mtrs and thereafter in trying to settle his mount lost balance on his mount and dislodged from the mount at about the 600 mtrs while negotiating the final bend. Since the incident was purely accidental, no action beyond the noting the same was taken. The Jockey who was given immediate medial aid, escaped unhurt.

Jockey A.A. Vikrant (MAXWELL) was cautioned for shifting in at about the 200 mtrs in the process taking the ground of ORIGINAL TEMPTRESS (Koushik). Trainer M.F. Ali Khan was advised to ensure that his charge is certified fit by the Club's Veterinary Officer before next accepting in a race.
