Explanation of Jockey Koushik (THE SPECIAL ONE) that his mount was tending to run out throughout the race as such he could not ride out his mount as instructed was not accepted and the Jockey was fined Rs. 2,000/- for failing to ride out his mount to complete advantage throughout the race.

Explanation of Jockey Nakhat Singh (CITY OF WISDOM) that his instructions were to go to front or sit close with front runners but as his mount was keen, he was unable to hold and taken a lead of 4 to 5 lengths in the initial stages of the race and in the straight when asked for an effort, his mount did not show any turn of foot, dropped back and finished the course distance behind inspite of his best efforts. Trainer M. Satyanarayana while confirming the above added that he had no plausible explanation to offer with regard to his charges poor performance was not accepted and the Trainer was fined a sum of Rs. 3000/- for inconsistent running of his charge.
