COUNTRY'S PET (N. Rawal) jumped out slowly losing about 1 or 2 lengths.

Explanation of Jockey Akshay Kumar (DUMBLEDORE) that his instructions were to go to front and do his best in the straight which he tried to follow until entering the straight and thereafter when asked for an effort, the gelding dropped back from about 400 mtrs inspite of his best efforts. Trainer S.S.F. Hassan while confirming the above added that he had no plausible explanation to offer to his charges dismal performance was noted. Subsequent Veterinary examination revealed as bleeder (Grade III). Trainer S.S.Hassan was advised to ensure that his charge is certified fit by the Club's Veterinary Officer before next accepting in a race.

An objection lodged by Jockey Rafique Sk (BOMBASTIC) placed 4th by the Judge, against App. Gopal Singh (WITHROSEMAKEUP) placed 2nd that " he came on to him from outside in the last 300 mtrs and pushed me inside due to which I had to check my mount and pulled out and I had to give a re run from the outside that cost me a certain race" was overruled by the Stewards and Judges placing remained unaltered.

App. Gopal Singh (WITHROSEMAKEUP) was fined Rs. 1000/- for failing to maintain a straight course in the final 300 mtrs.
