Explanation of Jockey Md. Ismail (BLICKFANG) that his mount ducked in immediately after the start catching him unaware, resulting in him getting unbalanced in the saddle and was dislodged and the filly ran the course riderless. As    this confirmed our observation, the explanation of Jockey was noted.  The Jockey was however, cautioned in the presence of Trainer M.F. Ali Khan to be more careful in future. The Jockey who was given immediate medical aid, escaped unhurt.
 
FELIX FLAME (B.R. Kumar) took a fly jump in the process lost about 2 or 3 lengths.
 
Explanation of Jockey Arshad Alam (BELLE SPRINGS) that his mount took an awkward jump due to which he got unbalanced as such he could not position his mount well up with the field was not accepted and the Jockey was severely reprimanded to make more determined efforts to be well up with the field in the initial stages of the race.
 
Explanation of Jockey Praveen Gaddam (STERLING KING) that his mount ran green in the process shifted in and forced in LIGHTNING PEARL (P. Ajeeeth Kumar) at about the 450 mtrs was not accepted and the Jockey was cautioned for shifting in and forcing in LIGHTNING PEARL (P. Ajeeth Kumar).
 
Explanation of Jockey G. Naresh (TURF MONARCH) that his mount did not raise a fluent gallop throughout the race and was also trying to run out inspite of his best efforts, noted. Trainer L.D' Silva was advised for a better performance and also to take remedial measures before next accepting in a race.
 
Explanation of Jockey P. Trevor (AMYRA) that his instructions were to sit close with the front bunch and not to go to front as the colt was stopping in the final stages in the previous races, which he tried to follow and when asked for an effort in the straight the gelding did not show any turn of foot was noted for future reference.
 
Explanation of Jockey A.Ashhad Asbar (CASTLEROCK) in the presence of Trainer S.A. Shehzad Abbas that his instructions were to position mid bunch which he tried to follow until entering the straight and thereafter he opted to make his move from outside in the straight and did his best was noted.
 
SUGAR AN SPICE (App. R S Jodha) sustained clipped injury over left hind. However, the filly was trotting sound after the race.
 
Explanation of Trainer R.H. Sequeira with regard to improved performance of his charge KING ROGER (Akshay Kumar) winner of this race who finished off board in the previous race that his charge in her previous run did not hold the bit and also was running first time after gap of 8 months where she was gaining ground in the final stages of the race and finished close 7th as compared to the present race the 200 mtrs extra to run and also equipment Australian Nose band on his charge added to his charges performance and went on to win the race.  The Trainer further added that he had not fancied but gave a chance was noted. However, the Trainer was cautioned to ensure that his charge race more consistently in future.
 
ECHOES OF HEAVEN (Kuldeep Singh) returned lame on left fore due to shoulder sprain.
