Explanation of Trainer K. Satheesh with regard to the inconsistent running of his charge SPORTING SMILE (App. Abhay Singh) winner of this race, who finished off board in the previous race that in the previous run, due to fast initial pace, his charge could not go to front in the initial stages of the race, thereafter the mare shied and dropped back when asked for an effort in the straight,  as compared to the present race, where the mare was able to go to front and set her own pace and went on to win the race and also Allowance claiming Jockey in the saddle was also added advantage to his charges performance was not accepted and the Trainer was fined Rs. 5000/- for inconsistent running of his charge.

Explanation of Jockey A. Ashhad Asbar (MR. SHANGHAI) that due to fast initial pace, he could not able to position his mount well up with the field in the initial stages of the race and thereafter the gelding did not raise a fluent gallop insptie of his best efforts, noted for future reference.
