A Stewards enquiry was called immediately after the running of this race into the start of this race where in the gates of stall No. 10 opened slightly early than other gates.. The Stewards after noting the explanation tendered by App. Abhay Singh, Starters in conjunction with that of Stipendiary Stewards and viewing the replay of the race on CCTV and acting on their own observation of the race that horse HURRICANE (App. Abhay Singh) draw No. 10, charged and pushed the gates due to which the gates of stall No. 10 were opened fractionally early than other gates.  The Stewards further noted that as this has not materially effected the running of the race and the result of the race, and also that all the horses in the race jumped out normally, the Stewards resolved that the gates were opened due to horse behaviour and not any technical fault, as such no action is called for and ordered Clerk of the Scales to give “All Clear”.

Explanation of Jockey Kiran Naidu (BLICKFANG) that his mount took a fly jump because of which he got unbalanced on his mount and got dislodged from the mount and thereafter horse ran the course riderless in the process hampered the running of AIBAK (App. Gaurav Singh) soon after the start and HURRICANE (App. Abhay Singh) at the about 850 mtrs. As this confirmed our observation, no action beyond noting the same was taken.

Jockey Kiran Naidu who was given immediate medical aid declared medically unfit to ride for the remaining races of the day.

URVASI (Akshay Kumar) reared up inside the stall as the start was effected and took a fly jump in the process lost about distance, SSC revoked.

HURRICANE (App. Abhay Singh) jumped out awkwardly in the process losing about 2 or 3 lengths.

SOLO WINNER (B.R. Kumar) took a fly jump in the process lost about 1 or 2 lengths.

Explanation of Trainer S. Sreekant with regard to the improved performance of his charge BLAZING JUPITER (P. Ajeeth Kumar) winner of this race, who finished off board in the previous race that, the previous race being 4 years old and upward,  his charge was in front upto about 600 mtrs and thereafter when field came near, his charge dropped back as compared to the present race which being of horses 5 year old and upward, the Jockey went to front and set his own pace and went on to win the race.  The Trainer further stated that he has not fancied and the filly was available at longer odds was not accepted and the Trainer was fined Rs. 5000/- for inconsistent running of his charge.

FLAMINGO FLAME (Suraj Narredu) sustained bruised injury over right hind. However, the mare was trotting sound after the race.

URVASI (Akshay Kumar) was trotting lame on left fore due to shoulder sprain.
