SPECIAL EFFORT (Antony Raj S) reared up as the start was effected there by losing about 4 or 5 lengths, SSC revoked.
 
Explanation of App. C P Bopanna (SWEET MELODY) in the presence of Trainer K. Satheesh that his mount was tending to run out in the straight inspite of his best efforts was not accepted and the App. was fined Rs. 2,000/- for shifting out from about the 400 mtrs in the straight under use of the whip on to the outer track.
 
Explanation of Jockey P. Ajeet Kumar (COSMICO) that his saddle slipped back in the final 200 mtrs as such he could not ride out his mount to complete advantage thereafter.  As this confirmed our observation, the Jockey explanation was noted and Trainer M.F. Ali Khan was fined a sum of Rs. 5000/- for failing to take proper care in saddling of his charge whose saddle slipped during running of the race.
 
Explanation of Jockey C S Jodha (NOLAN) that his instructions were to sit close with front runners and do his best in the straight which he tried to follow until entering the straight and thereafter when asked for an effort, his mount dropped back in the final 200 mtrs inspite of his best efforts, was noted for future reference.
 
Explanation of App. Jodha R S (SPACE WALK) in the presence of Trainer K. Satheesh that his mount did not raise a fluent gallop throughout the race was confirmed by Trainer was noted. The App. was however cautioned to be more vigorous in his efforts in the initial stages of the race to be well up with the field in future.
 
Explanation of App. Surya Prakash (ARMANI CANDY) that his mount dropped back from about the 700 mtrs and finished the course distance behind inspite of his best efforts was noted. Subsequent Veterinary examination revealed that the colt was trotting lame on left fore due to fetlock joint sprain.
 
SHOW ME YOUR WALK (Akshay Kumar) sustained superficial injury over left hind. However, the filly was trotting sound after the race.
