Explanation of Jockey Antony Raj S (FIRE POWER) that his mount jumped out slowly losing about 1 or 2 lengths as such he could not position well up with the field in the initial stages of the race and in the straight he did his best was noted for future reference.
 
Explanation of Jockey Akshay Kumar (SOLOIST) that his mount suddenly ducked in, in the final 100 mtrs of the race catching him unaware. As this confirmed our observation, no action beyond noting the same was taken.
 
Explanation of Jockey A. Ashhad Asbar (ICICLE) in the presence of Trainer D. Netto that his instructions were to sit close with front runners, but as he was denied a clear run soon after the start due to crowding of runners racing in front, he could not position his mount well up with the field in the initial stages of the race and started improving from about the 800 mtrs and thereafter when asked for an effort, his mount did not show any turn of foot in the straight inspite of his best efforts. The Trainer while confirming the above added that he is baffled and has no plausible explanation to offer to his charges dismal performance was noted for future reference.
 
Trainer N. Ravinder Singh was cautioned to ensure that his charge NEW LOOK (App. Gaurav Singh) winner of this race, who finished 6th in the previous race, race more consistently in future.
