Explanation of App. Afroz Khan (SUN DANCER) that he accidentally clipped the heel of the front runner as a result he had to check his mount in the initial stages of the race was not accepted and the App. was cautioned to be more careful in future and thereafter for dropping back and losing his position in the initial stages of the race.
 
Explanation of Jockey Kuldeep Singh (BEDAZZLED) in the presence of Trainer M.F. Ali Khan that his mount did not raise a fluent gallop in the straight inspite of his best efforts, noted. Subsequent Veterinary examination revealed that the gelding returned lame on left fore due to fetlock joint sprain.
 
Explanation of Jockey B. Nikhil (DILLON) that his mount was tending to run out in the final stages of the race as such he could not ride out his mount to complete advantage was not accepted and the Jockey was fined Rs. 2000/- for failing to maintain a straight course in the final stages of the race.
 
Explanation of Trainer L.D’ Silva with regard to the inconsistent running of his charge MISS MARVELLOUS (Akshay Kumar) winner of this race as compared to the previous run that his charge always performed well over long distance and in the previous race, which being a sprint race and also set being tough, his charge could not match the strides with the younger lot as compared to the present race which being a mile race for horses 5 year old and upward, the 400 mtrs extra to travel, an experienced Jockey in the saddle and a weaker set has been to his charges advantage and just managed to win the race at post, noted.  Trainer L.D’ Silva was however cautioned to ensure that his charges race more consistently in future.
