Consequent to Jockey Md. Ismail having been declared medically unfit to ride, the Stewards permitted Jockey Rafique Sk to be substituted on RHYTHM SELECTION.
 
Explanation of Jockey C S Jodha (MAPLEWOOD) that his mount tried to run out soon after the start because of which he lost considerable ground in the initial stages of the race and thereafter he was forced to use the gelding to be well up with the field and in the straight when asked for an effort, his mount did not show any turn of foot inspite of his best efforts.  Trainer S.K. Sunderji while confirming the above added that his charge is running after a long gap of more than eight months as such did not show any interest in the race was noted for future reference.
 
Explanation of Jockey Akshay Kumar (KESARIYA BALAM) that his mount was not passing the front runner in the final stages of the race inspite of his best efforts, noted. Trainer R.H. Sequeira was advised to take remedial measures before next accepting in a race.
 
Jockey A. Ashhad Asbar (ICICLE) was fined Rs.2000/- for shifting out at about the 200 mtrs in the process forcing out KESARIYA BALAM (Akshay Kumar).
 
Explanation of Trainer D. Netto with regard to the improved performance of his charge ICICLE (A. Ashhad Asbar) winner of the race who finished off board in the previous run that Jockey in the previous race could not position his charge well up with the field as compared to the present race where the Jockey was able to position well up with front bunch and set his own pace and went on to win the race. The Trainer further added that other than this he has no plausible explanation to offer to his charges improved performance was not accepted and the Trainer was fined Rs.10,000/- for inconsistent running of his charge.
