Consequent to Jockey Akshay Kumar having been declared medically unfit to ride, the Stewards of the Club permitted Jockey Nakhat Singh to be substituted on STARWALT.

Explanation of Jockey Dhanu S Deora (MIREYA) that his instructions were to sit close 2nd or 3rd which he tried to follow until entering the straight and thereafter when asked for an effort, his mount did not show any turn of foot in the straight inspite of his best efforts. Trainer Magan Singh Parmar added that his charge did not relish the extra 200 mtrs to travel in this race was noted for future reference.

Explanation of App. R S Jodha (ICE BERRY) that his mount did not raise a fluent gallop in the straight inspite of his best efforts, noted. The App was however cautioned for shifting out at about the 400 mtrs though no interference was caused.

STARWALT (Nakhat Singh) sustained clipped injury over left hind proximal third plantar cannon. However, the gelding was trotting sound after the race.
