Explanation of Jockey Akshay Kumar (ARCHANGELS) that his instructions were to sit close with front runners which he tried to follow until entering the straight and thereafter when asked for an effort, his mount did not show any turn of foot in the straight inspite of his best efforts, noted for future reference.

Explanation of Jockey Aneel (ISRA) that his instructions were to go to front which he tried to follow until entering the straight and thereafter when asked for an effort, the filly shortened her strides and dropped back in the final 200 mtrs inspite of his best efforts. Trainer S. Sreekanth while confirming the above added that his charge was chased by other runners in the initial stages of the race resulting in, his filly getting tired and dropped back in the final 200 mtrs inspite of Jockeys efforts. The Trainer further added that he had fancied his charge based on the previous performance was noted. The Trainer was however, informed that any reversal of form in respect of his charge in future, he will be liable for severe disciplinary action as deemed fit.
