Racing Incidents
Jockey CD Hayes (ROSE BOWL) reported that his mount was slow into the strides and lost ground at the start and was soon covered by other horses. He was instructed to be in 3rd or 4th position and to do his best. Trainer S Mangalorkar stated that the horse was slow out of the Gates and after that could not get the position as instructed. He added that the horse was racing after a long lay off due to a couple of bouts of fever. The explanation was noted.
