Racing Incidents
RIVER GEM was reluctant to proceed to the start. Trainer S.K.Sunderji has been asked to take remedial measures to ensure that the gelding proceeds to the starting gates on time, before next accepting with him to race. On arrival at the Starting Gate, RIVER GEM (Imran Chisty) was examined by the Club`s Sr.V.O. at the request of the Jockey and was found to be sore by the right fore leg. As such, the gelding was certified unfit to race and hence was withdrawn on veterinary grounds, before coming under Starter`s orders. The gelding has to be passed fit by the Club`s V.O. before next accepting to race.
