Racing Incidents
When questioned, Jockey Imran Chisty (FIRE VAULT) stated that he was asked to go to the front and be about 2 lengths ahead of the field and ride his race. He added that he was in front and had ridden as per the instructions. To another question he stated that he had realized that the pace of the race was slow but if he had taken a longer lead and lost the race he would have been hauled up for taking a large break. Not being satisfied with the explanation of the Jockey, he has been cautioned for riding an ill-judged race.
