Racing Incidents

Approaching 800 metres, BY THE WAY (A.Ashhad Asbar) was tightened as KRYPTON (A.Sandesh) leaned inwards due the presence of NIGELLA (Akshay) on its outside.

SPEEDING (D.K.Ashish) lugged out in the straight.  Trainer Altamaash A.Ahmed has been asked to take remedial measures before next accepting to race the gelding.

Jockey T.S.Jodha (VIVA ZAPATA) was observed to have used the whip in excess of the prescribed limit. This being the third offence with regard to use of the whip, the matter was reported to the Stewards.

The Stewards interviewed Jockey T.S.Jodha and having heard him and viewing the video recording of the race, held him guilty of using the whip in excess of the prescribed limit on his mount. Therefore, the Stewards decided that should he apply for a Jockey’s license for the Season 2012/13, it will be granted to him, however, his license will stand suspended we.f. 18th July 2013 to 19 July 2013 (permitted to ride work).

The Sr.V.O. reported that after the race MOON RAKER was observed to be returning sore from the right fore leg. First Aid treatment was given and the gelding was sent to the Equine Hospital by Horse Ambulance for further management. The gelding has to be passed fit by the Club’s V.O. before next accepting to race.

After the race, VIVA ZAPATA was found to be sore by the right fore leg. The gelding has to be passed fit by the Club’s VO before next accepting to race.

After the race, SPEEDING was observed to have a cut injury at the left hind pastern and had lost its left fore plate. DAUGHTEROFDESTINY and KRYPTON were found to be sound.
