Racing Incidents

On the way to the start,  SUPERTRAMP (Suraj Narredu) dislodged the rider and bolted. After consent from the trainer, the gelding was withdrawn from the race Trainer M.Narredu and he has been asked to take remedial measures before next accepting with his charge. Further, the gelding was examined after the race and found to be sore by the right fore leg. The gelding has to be passed fit by the Club’s V.O. before next accepting to race.

Jockey S Sunil (RUBENS) was observed to have used his whip in excess of the prescribed limit on his mount. This being his third offence with regard to the breach of rule regarding use of the whip, the Stipendiary Stewards have suspended his Jockey’s license w.e.f 9th January 2014 to 16th January 2014 (both days included) (permitted to ride work/mock race).

After the race, MALKIA, MONTE CARLO and INFALLIBLE were found to be sound.
