Racing Incidents

At the start, ICE AFFAIR (App.G.Amit) jumped out awkwardly and stumbled.

App. R.Ajinkya (LORELEI) reported that his mount was slow to begin.

Near 100 metres, ALECTO (S.Mosin) commenced to lug-out and in the process carried HOME ADVANTAGE (Sandeep Jadhav) outward.  Trainer S.S.Shah has been asked to take remedial measures before next accepting to race the gelding.

SUN HOT (App.S.J.Sunil) lugged out in the final 100 metres. Trainer Altaf Hussain has been asked to take remedial measures before next accepting to race the gelding.

Trainer Imtiaz A.Sait and Jockey Sandeep Jadhav were questioned regarding the running and riding of HOME ADVANTAGE. The jockey stated that he was instructed to be in 5th or 6th position and to do his best. Trainer Imtiaz A. Sait agreed that the jockey had ridden feebly in the straight and added that being an allowance claimer, the Jockey has ridden as per his ability. Whilst noting the explanation of the Trainer, Jockey Sandeep Jadhav has been reprimanded for feeble handling of his mount in the straight.

After the race, BURGUNDY ROSE and SONG OF AFRICA (examined on 22/12/2014) were found to be sound.
