Racing Incidents

ETERNAL DANCER (App. Shahrukh Khan) was permitted to be withdrawn on compassionate grounds.
 
After being stalled, MAGICAL BLOSSOM (D. A. Naik) played up in the stall. The filly was taken out and examined by the Club’s Sr. VO who certified her fit to race. Trainer C. Rajendra has been asked to give the filly more gate practice and show her to the satisfaction of the Starter at morning starting trials, before next accepting to race.
 
Soon after the start, BLAZING STEPS (App. D. S. Daman, dr.4) shifted in thereby tightening SHEER BELIEF (App.K.Nazil, dr.3) who had to be checked. Thereafter, BLAZING STEPS (App. D. S. Daman) further shifted in on to SHAHTOOSH (App. M. Ayyar) who in turn shifted in thereby tightening CRAY CRAY (App. S. A. Amit) along the rails, forcing the latter to be checked and drop back. After questioning, App.D.S.Daman has been fined Rs.2,000/-.
 
Passing 900 metres, MAGICAL BLOSSOM (D. A. Naik) marginally shifted in on to SPARKLING THEA (C.S.Jodha).
 
Passing 300 metres, MAGICAL BLOSSOM (D. A. Naik) shifted out on to EXOSPHERE (T. S. Jodha), who in turn shifted out and made contact with CRAY CRAY (App.S.A.Amit) who had to be steadied. Jockey D.A.Naik has been cautioned.
 
After the race, App. S. A. Amit (CRAY CRAY) reported that passing the 400 metres his whip got entangled with the neck strap and fell. This being his second instance, App.S.A.Amit has been fined Rs.2,000/-.
 
After the race, BLAZING STEPS was observed to have broken a blood vessel and is not to race for the stipulated ban period of four weeks. The gelding has to be passed fit by the Club’s V.O. before next accepting to race.
 
After the race, MAGICAL BLOSSOM was trotted and found to be sound.
