Racing Incidents

At the start, TENERIFE (S. Zervan, dr. 4) jumped inwards on to GOOD THING (App. S. A. Amit, dr. 3).
 
Approaching 300 metres LORD COMMANDER (App.Santosh G.) shifted out under pressure and carried WIND CRAFT (Amyn Merchant) outwards.  Thereafter, in the final stages of the race, SOUTHPAW (S.G.Prasad) drifted out and at the same time App.Santosh G. (LORD COMMANDER)  was observed to have used the whip from the right due to which his mount drifted out. App.Santosh G. has been cautioned.
 
SOUTHPAW (S.G.Prasad) was observed to have maintained an erratic course from 300 metres onwards as a result TENERIFE (S. Zervan) was inconvenienced. After the race, Jockey S. G. Prasad reported that his mount was running erratic. Trainer Faisal A. Abbas has been asked to take remedial measures before next accepting to race the gelding.
 
After the race, ROCK IN RIO was found to be sore by the right fore leg. The gelding has to be passed fit by the Club’s V.O. before next accepting to race.
 
After the race, GOOD THING was observed to have a cut injury at the left hind pastern and right hind coronet. SOUTHPAW and TENERIFE were found to be sound in the trot.
