Racing Incidents

On arrival at the start, FANFARE (App.R.Ajinkya) was examined by the Club’s Sr.V.O. who certified the filly fit to race.
 
At the start, GOLDEN ORCHID (P. S. Chouhan, dr.4) jumped outwards and bumped WESTERN STYLE (N. S. Parmar, dr.5).
 
At the start, SAVAGE KINGDOM (Leigh Roche, dr.6) jumped outwards and made contact with HIS MASTER’S VICE (App.S. A. Amit, dr.7) thereby forcing it outwards on to SWIFTNESS (S. Sunil, dr.8).
 
Soon after the start, BENEVOLENCE (A. Sandesh) shifted in and went across SWIFTNESS (S. Sunil) and HIS MASTER’S VICE (App.S. A. Amit). Jockey A. Sandesh has been cautioned.
 
Approaching 600 metres, WESTER STYLE (N. S. Parmar) leaned inwards thereby tightening ARRECIFE (App. A. S. Peter) along the rails.
 
Passing 500 metres, SIXTH EMPEROR (App. N. B. Kuldeep) shifted in thereby tightening and inconveniencing SAVAGE KINGDOM (Leigh Roche) and WESTERN STYLE (N. S. Parmar).  On being questioned after the race, App. N. B. Kuldeep stated that his mount hung in despite his efforts. Trainer Narendra Lagad has been asked to take remedial measures before next accepting to race the gelding.
 
Passing 400 metres, SAVAGE KINGDOM (Leigh Roche) shifted out thereby inconveniencing SIXTH EMPEROR (App. N. B. Kuldeep). Jockey Leigh Roche has been cautioned.
 
Passing 400 metres, DAZZLE N DAZE (App. D. R. Shubham) leaned inwards, due to which FANFARE (App. R. Ajinkya) shifted in thereby tightening GOLDEN ORCHID (P. S. Chouhan) along the rails. App. D. R. Shubham has been cautioned.
 
After the race, WESTERN STYLE was observed to have broken a blood vessel and is not to race for the stipulated ban period of four weeks. The gelding has to be passed fit by the Club’s V.O. before next accepting to race.
 
After the race, SIXTH EMPEROR and GOLDEN ORCHID were trotted and found to be sound.  ARRECIFE had hematoma at the right thigh.
