At the request of Trainer Altaf Hussain, TRACK STAR was examined at 1830 hours on 09/03/2019 and found to be sore by the right fore leg, as such, the gelding was certified unfit to race and was withdrawn on veterinary grounds. The gelding has to be passed fit by the Club’s V.O. before next accepting to race.
 
GOLD DUST (M.A.Roushan) jumped out slow losing about 2 lengths at the start.
Passing 600 metres, BAIT AND SWITCH (App. S. A. Amit) shifted in and bumped BELENUS (Neeraj Rawal). Thereafter, passing 500 metres, BAIT AND SWITCH further shifted in and bumped BELENUS who was inclined outwards.  After questioning both the Jockeys, App. S. A. Amit has been suspended for 2 Race Days i.e. from 29th to 31st March, 20019 (both days inclusive) for careless riding (permitted to ride work/mock race).
 
Approaching 350 metres, BLACK CHERRY (Dashrath Singh) shifted in thereby tightening COURAGEOUS STAR (Shrikant Kamble) along the rails, forcing the latter to be checked and drop back. Jockey Dashrath Singh has been cautioned.
Passing 350 metres, BELENUS (Neeraj Rawal) shifted out and made contact with MIRABILIS (N. S. Parmar).
 
After the race, Jockey P. S. Chouhan (TRISTAR) reported the loss of whip passing the 50 metres. This being his first instance during the current Mumbai Meeting 2018/19, no action has been initiated.
 
After the race, BELENUS was trotted and found to be sound.
