Racing Incidents

SOCRATES (Neeraj Rawal) was reluctant to be stalled. Trainer P. Shroff has been asked to give the colt more gate practice before next accepting to race.
 
Passing the Red Marker, IMMORTALITY (P. S. Chouhan) was observed to have clipped the heels of FLAMEOFTHEFOREST (Yash Narredu) and stumbled.
 
After the race, Jockey S. Zervan (VIRASAT) reported that his mount hung out passing the 300 metres and thereafter in his effort to correct the same had shifted in more than anticipated causing WHO DARES WINS (A. Sandesh) to be steadied along the rails. In view of the above, Trainer Vishal Gikwad has been asked to take remedial measures before next accepting to race the filly.
 
After the race, Jockey Yash Narredu reported the loss of whip passing the 100 metres, this being his first instance of whip loss during the current Mumbai Meeting 2020-21’ no action has been initiated.
 
After the race, GOLD MEDALIST was found to be sore by the right fore leg. The gelding has to be passed fit by the Club’s V.O. before next accepting to race.
 
After the race, FLAMEOFTHEFOREST was observed to have an injury at the left hind hock. WHO DARES WINS and VIRASAT were sound in the trot.
