SPINOZA (P. S. Chouhan) played up in the stall and cast its fore leg in the adjoining stall. The colt was taken out and in the process of being examined by the Sr. V.O. he bolted and ran around the course. As such, SPINOZA was withdrawn before coming under the Starter’s order. Also, after being stalled, ABOVE THE LAW (R. Ajinkya) kept kicking the rear gate, as such, the colt was taken out and examined by the Club’s Sr.V.O. who certified him fit to race.
 
In view of SPINOZA having bolted, all the other horses were taken out and subsequently re-stalled. However, ARC DE TRIOMPHE (S. Zervan) refused to be stalled despite substantial efforts, as such, the colt was withdrawn before coming under the Starter’s order.
 
Trainers P.Shroff, S.K.Sunderji and Adhirajsingh Jodha have been asked to give their respective charge more gate practice and show them to the satisfaction of the Starter at morning starting trials, before next accepting to race.
 
Approaching the 1000 metres, ROMAN (P. Trevor) veered outwards and went across ALASKAN SKY (Neeraj Rawal) who had to be steadied. Thereafter, ROMAN continued to veer out despite the rider’s efforts and raced on the extreme outside. After the race, Jockey P.Trevor reported that in his effort to straighten his mount, his bridle had displaced, as such he was unable to exercise complete control and did not ride out. Trainer M. Narredu has been asked to take remedial measures and show the colt to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in a mock race, before next accepting to race.
 
After the race, ALASKAN SKY was trotted and found to be sound.
