At the request of Trainer Rehanullah Khan, SUFIYAH was examined at 1000 hours on 05/03/2021 and found to be suffering from urticaria, as such, the filly was certified unfit to race and was withdrawn on veterinary grounds. The Trainer is required to obtain a fitness certificate for the filly from the Club’s V.O. before next accepting to race.
 
AIRA (Bhawani Singh) jumped out tardily losing about a length at the start.
 
Soon after the start, WILLIAM WALLACE (Y.S.Srinath) shifted in and went across AIRA (Bhawani Singh) who was slow to begin. At the same time, SUSSING (S.A.Amit) shifted out and bumped WILLIAM WALLACE (Y.S.Srinath) and thereafter maintained an erratic course thereby inconveniencing WILLIAM WALLACE on more than one occasion. On being questioned after the race, Jockey S.A.Amit stated that his mount was very keen and in an effort to settle the filly, she was erratic. Jockey S.A.Amit has been cautioned.
 
Passing the 200 metres, LITTLE MORE (App.P.S.Kaviraj) weakened and shifted out carrying STREEK ( S.Zervan) outwards.
 
Passing the 100 metres, FENDI (Amyn Merchant) was held up for room and had to be steadied.
 
After the race, WILLIAM WALLACE and STREEK were trotted and found to be sound. WILLIAM WALLACE had a cut injury at the right hind fetlock and GUSTY GIRL had a gum injury.
