On the way to the start, COUNT OF SAVOY (Akshay Kumar) dislodged the rider and bolted and was apprehended at the starting point . As such, the colt was withdrawn before coming under the Starter’s order. Trainer S.K.Sunderji has been asked to take remedial measure.
 
BEASTIA (Bhawani Singh) was reluctant to be stalled. Trainer Karthik Ganapathy has been asked to give the filly more gate practice and show her to the satisfaction of the Starter at morning starting trials, before next accepting to race.
 
An objection was lodged by Jockey S.Zervan, the rider of ALFAYIZ (Placed Second) against KAMILAH (A.Sandesh, Placed First). The reason being, passing the 2 furlongs marker, KAMILAH (A.Sandesh) kept squeezing him in, intimidating his horse, taking his ground and bumping him on a couple of occasions and unbalancing his horse completely and denying him and his horse their rightful space up till the 100 metres, due to which he lost complete momentum, his horse got unbalanced and had come on and this had cost him a certain race.
 
After considering the submissions made by the Jockeys concerned, in conjunction with that of the Stipendiary Stewards and relying on their judgment, the Stewards decided to over-rule the objection.
 
After the race, Jockey M.Ayyar (ZARAK) reported that in the final stages of the race his mount was inclined outwards and in an effort to correct his mount, his reins had slipped momentarily.
