Racing Incidents
Jockey K.P.G. Appu, the rider of UNDUE, reported that he could not get a clear run approaching the 800 Metres due to a closely packed field. Jockey K.P.G. Appu, the rider of UNDUE on being questioned re- ported that his mount did not accelerate well after passing the 400 Metres. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination. The Club`s Veterinary Officer reported that on examination at around 3.20 p.m. b c UNDUE was observed to be lame on right fore due to sprained fetlock. Trainer Mr. J. Babu Rao was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club`s Ve- terinary Officer before accepting with it again.
