Racing Incidents
Permission was granted to trainer Mr. Warren Singh to withdraw FLY FREE on veterinary grounds as it was examined and found to be trotting lame on right fore due to sprained tendon. He was in formed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club`s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again. ONE (C.D. Hayes) was extremely fractious in the gates and its right fore leg was caught on the platform for a significant period of time with the horse in sitting position. Subsequently the horse fell on its back with the saddle getting pushed on to the withers. Under the circumstances, the horse was permitted to be withdrawn on veterinary grounds before coming under Starter`s orders. Trainer Mr. Arjun Mangalorkar was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club`s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
