Racing Incidents
Trainer Mr. S. Narredu was questioned regarding the poor performance of his charge SPLENDID GLORY (R. Koch). The trainer stated that (a) his horse is very mediocre; (b) he had prepared the horse to run over 1200 Metres in its age group in the previous week; (c) as the races were cancelled he ran his charge in this race; and (d) the horse did not stay the distance. While noting the explanations of the trainer, (a) it was pointed out to him that the performance of the horse is deteriorating with each run during the meeting; (b) he was advised to ensure better performance by his charge in future; and (c) he was informed to employ better judgement with regard to the suitability of races for his ward in future.
