Racing Incidents
Trainer Mr. M. Eshwer was fined Rs.500/- for making an error in the starting declaration in respect of his charge JERSEY ROCK. Jockey Saleem Golam, the rider of GIRL NEXT DOOR, pulled up his mount and dismounted approaching the 1100 Metres since he felt that the horse was not striding out in a normal manner. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination soon after the race and kept under observation. After the last race it was examined (endoscopy) and was found to have suffered from EIPH. Trainer R.R. Byramji was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club`s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again. ROCAMORA (Afsar Khan) pulled up lame on right fore due to sprained fetlock. Trainer Mr. Sharat Kumar was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club`s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
