Racing Incidents
Trainer Mr. Faraz Arshad was questioned regarding the discontinuation of the tongue strap on his charge REDFORD in that in Race No.7 the horse sported the tongue strap and won with it. The trainer stated that his charge tends to loaf once it gets into the lead and that was the reason why he had removed the tongue strap for this race. He further added that he would not change the pattern of running of his charge in future. In furtherance to the above explanation, an enquiry has been opened into the dismal performance of REDFORD in the above race.
