Racing Incidents
Jockey B. Mukesh Kumar, the rider of MENLO PARK, shifted in sharply soon after jumping out and causing severe interference to YOUR DESTINY (S.R. Santosh Kumar) and bumping and taking the ground of SPARK OF JEWEL (S. John) on his inside. The Stipendiary Stewards reported Jockey B.Mukesh Kumar, the rider of MENLO PARK to the Stewards for dangerous riding in that as the rider of MENLO PARK he rode dangerously by scrubbing his mount vigorously inwards after the start and causing severe interference to YOUR DESTINY (S.R. Santosh Kumar), ROYAL ZEN (S. Chandrashekar), NEEL GAGAN (M. Madhu Babu) and SPARK OF JEWEL (S. John) before passing the red marker port. The Stewards held an enquiry after the last race and interviewed Jockey B. Mukesh Kumar. After deliberations, they decided to suspend Jockey B. Mukesh Kumar for dangerous riding (Rule No.161(i) of the BTC Rules of Racing) from 21-7-2009 to 7-8-2009 (both days inclusive) on his mount MENLO PARK in the above race.
