Racing Incidents
As Jockey G. Vijay was certified medically unfit to ride, permission was granted to trainer Mr. S. Inayathulla to substitute Jockey Shahbuddin to ride ENFORCER in place of the declared rider. Trainer Mr. Irfan Ghatala was fined Rs.5,000/- for his negligence in not being present for saddling his charge SHISHAM in the race without making alternate arrangements and for arriving late to the paddock. ROYAL ALCHEMIST (J.H. Christopher) lost considerable ground and did not raise a fluent gallop and ran detached from the field. In view of its behaviour trainer Mr. Mohd. A. Abbas was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one Mock Race on a race day on the race track. Jockey Vinod Shinde, the rider of SHISHAM, reported that he was forced to travel wide from 900 Metres to 700 Metres. Jockey B. Sreekanth, the rider of ZAIOS, was fined Rs.3,000/- for not infusing adequate vigour on his mount in the straight. ROYAL ALCHE
