Racing Incidents
As Jockey N. Tauseef Ahmed was certified medically unfit to ride, permission was granted to trainer Mr. S. Narredu to substitute Jockey Amyn Merchant to ride BURNING AMBITION in place of the declared rider. It was observed that DOUBLE ELITE (Gaurav Sapra) pulled up lame rounding the final bend. On examination, the Club`s Veterinary Officer reported that it had sustained fracture of both hind fetlock during the race. Subsequently it was euthanised.
