Racing Incidents

 

Permission was granted to trainer Mr. S.S. Attaollahi to substitute Jockey Y.S. Srinath to ride CAFÉ DEL MONTE in place of the declared rider.

Jockey H.G. Rathod, the rider of LIVING LEGEND, was fined Rs.2,000/- for repeatedly checking his mount at the start, thereby shifting out and causing interference to MI AMOR (Ladjadj Stephane) before passing the red marker post.

Jockey Valdir De Sousa, the rider of ONE TIME MAGIC, was fined Rs.2,000/- for shifting out and causing interference to the horses on his outside viz. RIGHT ON THE MONEY (K.P.G. Appu) and GOOD AS GOLD (Neeraj Rawal) approaching the 300 Metres.

It was reported after the race that RIGHT ON THE MONEY (K.P.G. Appu) burst its blood vessels. Trainer Mr. G. Nityanand was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
