Permission was granted to trainer Mr. Tharun Thimmaiah to withdraw SENOR SPEEDY on veterinary grounds as it was found to be suffering from colic. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

Jockey Y.S. Srinath, the rider of ESMERALDO, was fined Rs.2,000/- for shifting in and causing interference to MOUNTAIN OF JOY (Suraj Narredu) on his inside approaching the 150 Metres.

Jockey M.A. Gallagher, the rider of FOREST REGENT, was fined Rs.3,000/- for the excessive use of the whip on his mount during the race (2nd infringement)).
